Webshop-manual BVH

As of september 2009 Princess Sports has been assigned to be the official supplier of BVH-outfits. For that, Princess Sports have had a webshop being developped for our members, so that they are able to order basketball uniforms and other basketball-related items against conveniently tagged prices. The manual below should assist our English-speaking members on their way to order -for example- a BVH-outfit. Although this manual seems endless and complicated, it's definitely not, on the contrary, we'd say!

Basically, there are only three main steps: Login, Order and Checkout. Each of these steps consists of a few simple actions, but before you start to order, we strongly advice you to sign-up at Princess Sports first by

In addition to that, we also suggest to read our

If you have carefully read everything, it's time to place an order by these three steps:

First: making an account

First and foremost, we stronly suggest that everyone signs up as a customer of Princess Sports. Without being recognized as a known customer to Princess, you cannot checkout and pay the order you just placed. Signing up is a one-time procedure and consists of four simple steps. First, log on to the webshop itself:

1 Click "Account":
2 Since you're a new customer
click "Continue":
3 Fill in your personal data:

All fields containing a red asteriks (*) are mandatory
4 Click "Continue":

Do note that the "kleding@bvhoofddorp"-address is an example; you should enter your own email-address over there! After you have entered this information, you will now see a confirmation-screen, indicating that your data has been successfully stored. Within a few minutes you'll also receive this information by email, but you may start ordering as of now if you like. If you're ready to do so, scroll down to go to the next step: Signing in.

Signing in

Signing in as a known customer to Princess Sports means that you do not need to execute this step when you're in the middle of your checkout-process, which may lead to confusion. Login like this:


1 Visit the BV Hoofddorp Webshop
2 Click "Account"
3 Fill in your email-address en password
4 Click "Sign In"

You are now logged on and you may browse, order and checkout as a known customer of Princess Sports.

Placing your order

Because Princess ships all orders to the central delivery-point in Hoofddorp once a a week (on wednesday), it is advised to place your order on tuesday before 18:00h. This way you may expect your shipment in most cases the very same week. The ordering-process is a simple, five-step procedure and it assumes that you have already been signed in.

Yes: click "Home" at the top of the screen
and repeat step 1 through 3

Checking out

You have ordered one or more items from our webshop and want to pay. The checkout-procedure also consists of a few simple and easy-to-understand steps. If you have clicked "Checkout" in the previous procedure, go on with checking out below:


1 In the section "Shipping Method" you will find the amount of €3,57,
which is your contribution to the S&H costs.
2 If applicable:
enter the player's game-number into the Comments-section
E.g. "Spelersnummer: 77",
Within the same section, please provide the name of the player
for whom the order is meant.
3 Click "Continue"
4 Ignore the section "Billing Address"-section
5 Select your preffered Payment Method:
"iDeal" or "Check/Money Order"
6 Click "Continue"
7 Carefully check the section "Products"
in the "Order Information"-screen
8 If needed:
use "Edit" to change its content
9 Click "Confirm Order"
10 If you pay by iDeal:
finish your Internet Banking-procedure
and after that proceed to step 11
If you pay by Check/Money Order:
you're ready; also proceed to step 11
11 A message that your order
has been received successfully
will appear

After you have successfully ordered and payed for your item(s), your shoppingcart will be empty. A confirmation-email will be sent to the email-address that you have given during the signup-procedure, so check your email-account for this important email. This email will also be used as a waiver when collecting the item(s) you have ordered; information as to how, where and when you will be able to receive your item(s), will be announced as soon as possible.

Frequently asked questions and the answers to them

I want to delete one or more items from my shoppingcart. How do I do that?

Click your shoppingcart, flag the item(s) you want to remove in the column "Remove" and click "Update".

I want to order multiple copies of one item. How do I do that?

Click your shoppingcart, increase the number in the column "Qty." and click "Update".

I've lost my login-name. What should I do?

Your login-name is identical to the email-address that you provided when you signed up as a new customer. Use thát address as your login-name.

I've lost my password. What should I do?

Click "Account" and then click "Forgot your password? Click here". Provide the email-address that you have given during signing up. Within a few minutes you will receive a new password on that particular address.

Exactly what are my privileges as a visitor opposed as to a known customer?

Each visitor (which is someone who hasn't signed in) can shop as much as he or she wants, but you're not able to checkout. Best thing you can do is to sign in before doing anything else.

I've ordered alot of items by accident. How do I completely empty my shoppingcart?

Click your shoppingcart, flag all items and click "Update". The other way to empty your shoppingcart obviousely is to actually pay for all items...

Yikes! The webshop suddenly is in Dutch! What should I do?

At the bottom-left of your screen click the British flag under the section "Languages".

I've completely lost track on the webshop, I cannot find the BVH webshop anymore and I'm wondering around on another, unfamiliair webshop. What must I do to see the BVH webshop again?

Click "Home" at the top of the screen. This link will always bring you back safely to our cozy webshop...

I want to order items that are not in the BVH webshop, but somewhere else on the Princess webshop. Is that allowed/possible?

Sure, but do note that discounts only apply to items in the BVH webshop, not to items found somewhere else.

I want to change some of my personal data. Is that possible?

Yes. Click "Account", sign in and click "Account" again. Change your personal information by clicking the link "View or change my account information".

Does the webshop provide some sort of historical overview of all previous orders I've made?

Yes. Click "Account", sign in and click "Account" again. See your previous orders by clicking the link "View the orders I have made".

I want to order my basketball shorts in size XL and my jersey in size XXL. Is that possible at Princess Sports?

Nope. Princess only ships complete uniforms, sorry.
